Terms of Sales

Voyages Mascouche is a trademark and is operated by the company Voyages Synergia, a legal entity established under the Quebec Companies Act. (Hereinafter referred to as Voyages Mascouche, chosen as the travel agency by the internet client). You can now book your business trip or vacation with complete security.

If you wish to obtain information or details regarding your destination choice or to plan your itinerary, we recommend that you contact our travel advisors, either by phone at the agency of your choice, whose contact information is provided, or by email at the addresses listed.

Voyages Mascouche's transactional site is a site with maximum security. Please note, however, that using this site means that you automatically accept the general terms and conditions set forth by wholesalers and/or travel service providers, and it is your duty to consult them. You are thus subject to the following conditions and those stated by wholesalers and/or providers.

1. Role of Voyages Mascouche

We are a group of traditional travel agencies established in Quebec for over 20 years. We are retail travel agencies, licensed in Quebec, and regulated by the Office de la protection du consommateur. Voyages Mascouche does not act as a wholesaler or supplier. Voyages Mascouche acts as an agent for the travel products and services appearing on our site. These services are provided or organized by independent companies not affiliated with Voyages Mascouche. We act as an agent when we reserve and transmit, on your behalf, your reservation request and payments to the wholesaler and/or the provider of the travel you have chosen. We also act as an agent of the wholesaler or provider when we transmit the reservation confirmation and travel documents to you.

2. No Advice During Your Online Purchase

When making a reservation and purchase online on our site, Voyages Mascouche cannot assess your needs or expectations. Therefore, you are solely responsible for choosing the trip you have selected, the description of which is solely the responsibility of the wholesaler and/or the provider. Voyages Mascouche assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or truthfulness of the information provided by wholesalers and/or providers. However, if you wish to be advised or informed about your choice of holidays or trips, you can contact Voyages Mascouche's travel advisors by phone.

3. Responsibility

It is your responsibility to certify that you are at least 18 years old and authorized, by law, to enter into this agreement and make online purchases in accordance with the stated conditions. You assume full financial responsibility for your use of the secure transactional site of Voyages Mascouche. You also attest that all information provided in connection with your use of this site by you or the users of your computer is true and accurate. Remember that false or misleading statements made in connection with a purchase may constitute an offense subject to criminal prosecution.

4. Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to have in your possession all travel documents, passports, visas, etc., as well as vaccines required by the authorities of the countries you will be staying in, at your own expense. If you are unsure about which documents to obtain, please contact Voyages Mascouche or the consulates or embassies of the countries you will be visiting. A traveler who does not have the necessary documents to travel may be denied access to the airline or entry to the country of transit or final destination. In such a case, cancellation fees apply, and Voyages Mascouche disclaims all responsibility.

5. General Conditions of Wholesalers and/or Suppliers

The purchase of travel services is subject to the conditions and restrictions of the wholesaler and/or supplier, your vouchers, and tickets. The general conditions of wholesalers and suppliers are accessible on this site before making a reservation and completing your purchase. When you provide your credit card number to purchase a travel service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these general conditions and those of the wholesaler and/or supplier. The general conditions of wholesalers and suppliers generally include fees for cancellation or modifications to your purchases.

You must also pay particular attention to the check-in deadlines at airports, usually three (3) hours before departure, the availability of services at your destination, and the possibility of changes to flights or hotels. It is the traveler's responsibility to always ensure the validity of schedules for any carrier, within a minimum of 24 hours before departure. You must always confirm your flights 72 hours or less before departure.

As Voyages Mascouche is not involved in the preparation, organization, or provision of products and services that are part of on-site travel services, including packages that are solely the responsibility of the wholesaler or provider of the travel product or service you purchased, it disclaims all liability in this regard and for any damage, loss, theft, accident, or injury that may occur during the traveler's participation.

6. Prices and Other Information

All travel services that you purchase through this site will be delivered to you based on their availability. All prices mentioned on the Voyages Mascouche website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. They include federal and provincial taxes but do not include shipping fees, if applicable. A service fee of $50.00 CAD (including GST/QST) may be charged, depending on the type of reservation, for each airline ticket issued. The purchase price of any trip is the price communicated to you at the time of purchase. Voyages Mascouche is not responsible for any price changes that may occur before you complete your online purchase.

7. Note on Prices in Quebec

Some jurisdictions regulate the advertising of travel prices and other tourism services by requiring wholesalers and suppliers to indicate only or predominantly the total cost to be paid for the advertised service (including taxes, service charges, or other additional fees). This rule does not apply in all provinces of Canada, regardless of your place of residence.

8. Printing Errors and Mistakes, Availability, Prices, and Orders

The information and prices of trips are provided directly by wholesalers and/or suppliers. Printing errors and other types of errors may occur. Therefore, Voyages Mascouche and the chosen agency and its suppliers reserve the right to correct the prices and fees applicable to products and services offered through the website at any time, without notice to you or any other person and without incurring liability towards you or any other person.

Furthermore, Voyages Mascouche cannot guarantee that the products and services advertised on the website will be available when you wish to purchase them or thereafter. In addition, Voyages Mascouche and the suppliers reserve the right to refuse, correct, or cancel a reservation and not to respond to a request for availability of a travel service. If you wish to purchase products or services whose displayed price is inaccurate, Voyages Mascouche and its suppliers reserve the right to reject your offer by notifying you by phone or in writing. The only valid price for the purchase of a trip is the one communicated to you at the time of purchase. Products and services are always subject to availability at the time of purchase.

9. Purchase of Travel Services and/or Payment Method

The travel services you wish to acquire must be paid for either by a required deposit and a balance due on a specified date during the transaction or in full at the time of purchase by credit card, and the transaction takes place directly on the website. If the required deposit option is chosen, failure to make the final payment on the specified date will result in the cancellation of your reservation, and the total deposit amount will not be refunded. Voyages Mascouche is in no way responsible for payment omissions. You can make your payment using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express cards.

10. Online Purchase Process

It is only when you provide your credit card number, either for the required deposit or as the final payment for your reservation, that the contract is concluded and finalized, and you fully accept the general terms and conditions of the supplier. Before this moment, you have no obligation to Voyages Mascouche, and the suppliers are not bound by any obligation whatsoever. When you provide your credit card number on the Voyages Mascouche transactional site to pay for a trip, you commit immediately to pay either the required deposit and the balance due on the date specified at the time of the transaction or the total cost of the trip.

Your credit card account will be immediately debited with the amount due for your purchase. Whether the purchase is made by yourself or by another person with access to your account, you may not evade payment for this trip, whether the trip has been completed or not. If the name indicated for at least one of the travelers covered by your reservation is not that of the credit card holder, your reservation request will not be transmitted to the wholesaler or supplier until Voyages Mascouche confirms with you the validity of your purchase.

We will send you a credit card authorization form and request a copy of the front and back of the credit card. The purchase will be completed only after receiving this information. In the meantime, the availability and price of the services you wish to purchase are subject to change without notice. Your credit card will be debited by the service provider and/or the wholesaler.

11. Cancellation of a Purchase

If you wish to cancel your online purchase, you must immediately contact us by phone. Under no circumstances will sending an email or leaving a voicemail message without receiving a response from a Voyages Mascouche travel agent cancel your online purchase. Once your purchase is completed, you are subject to cancellation or modification fees imposed by wholesalers and suppliers. You must refer to the general conditions of the wholesaler or supplier of your trip. In addition to the fees imposed by wholesalers and suppliers, Voyages Mascouche requires, in all cases, a minimum fee of $50.00 CAD per person per file in case of cancellation and modification to an online purchase.

12. Delivery of Documents

Once you have completed your online travel purchase, Voyages Mascouche will send you an email confirming the details of your trip. Please ensure that this information accurately matches the products and services you have chosen, and refer to this email for any other inquiries regarding your purchase. It is imperative that the name on your travel documents exactly matches that on your passport. Typically, the supplier delivers tickets and/or vouchers to Voyages Mascouche within 14 to 21 days before the departure date.

You will then choose the delivery method. Tickets and vouchers will be sent to you either by Canada Post at the regular rate or for a minimal shipping fee of $20 by a courier company or free of charge to our offices, through electronic ticketing or airport delivery. For ticket or voucher deliveries outside North America, shipping fees will vary depending on the courier company used and the delivery location. We will contact you.

13. Travel Insurance

Voyages Mascouche strongly recommends its customers to take out insurance covering certain events that may occur before, during, or after your departure. Voyages Mascouche uses Manulife travel insurance as its preferred provider, available to Canadian residents only on this site. You are entirely responsible for your decisions regarding whether to take or waive travel insurance. In no case can you contest that Voyages Mascouche recommended that you subscribe to insurance.

Insurance policies have exclusions, including but not limited to pre-existing medical conditions. They also have specific deadlines and procedures for making a claim. Voyages Mascouche assumes no responsibility in case of coverage denial by the insurer, regardless of the reason. Once you have purchased a travel service, if you decide to cancel the insurance you have purchased through Manulife Insurance and Voyages Mascouche, you must notify the insurer within 10 days. Any refund request will be made under the general conditions of Manulife Insurance or the insurer you have chosen, and according to the laws in force in the province of Quebec.

We understand the importance of protecting the confidential and personal information of our customers and employees. To gain and earn your trust, we have a policy of meeting and even raising standards for the protection of personal information. To do this, we adhere to the ten principles established by PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). Furthermore, we are constantly looking for new ways to secure your personal information and ensure that it is used in a respectful manner.

14. Restriction on Personal and Non-Commercial Use

Voyages Mascouche's transactional website is intended solely for the use of travelers. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, or assign information, software, products, or services obtained from the Voyages Mascouche website, nor use it to create derivative works or licenses. However, to book your trip and process your reservation, Voyages Mascouche must obtain certain personal information. When you book or purchase travel products and services on the secure transactional website of Voyages Mascouche, we are required to transmit information such as your name and phone number to the travel wholesaler or supplier, airline, or any other relevant product or service provider.

17. Copyright/Trademarks

All content, including software, on this site is protected under Canadian and international copyright laws. It is therefore prohibited to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, or assign information, software, products, or services obtained from the Voyages Mascouche website, or use them to create derivative works or licenses, or use any of the elements of the site for commercial or other purposes.

18. Laws, Regulations

These terms and conditions and their application are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, regardless of conflict of laws provisions. The customer user accepts and acknowledges the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, District of Montreal, with respect to any dispute arising from the use of this site or these terms and conditions.
